There’s some news from Snoop Dogg’s family and it’s great.
Rapper’s daughter Cori Broadus has revealed that her daughter Kody, born last February at 25 weeks pregnant, has been released from the hospital after spending 10 months in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) after being born prematurely.
“She’s home,” the 26-year-old wrote next to a Jan. 6 Instagram carousel that featured a snap of her and her baby girl in bed. “Thank you for all the prayers, all the messages, all the love. God heard them all.”
She also shared a glimpse of her daughter with fiancé Wayne Duce playfully tickling her as she lay next to her.
Cori, whose mother is Chanté Broadus, announced the birth of Kodi in February and reflected on her six-month pregnancy and her emotional journey.
“I cried and cried and compared and blamed myself for not being able to give her everything she needed,” she wrote in a Feb. 28 Instagram post. “But no matter what happens, God always shows me that I am His child!”
