That opportunity inspired her to jump into the competition.
“Sean had been asked to do that in previous seasons,” Andrew, whose armband was removed during a difficult interrogation in the Nov. 20 finale, explained, “but she had other things to attend to.”
As the mother explained to Drew (6 years old), Jett (4 years old), and Bear (23 months old), “I was pregnant, every time.”
However, after welcoming her last baby in December 2023, producers hinted that she might compete in season 4 and bring along her teammates.
“The moment I found out we could do it together, I was like, ‘Oh, baby, let’s go. This is like a second honeymoon,'” Andrew joked. “He’s a sick and twisted guy.”
It was a vacation with a little sunbathing, but a lot of introspection.
“We spontaneously jump out of planes,” Sean explained of their shared adrenaline-addicted nature. And while they have a deep respect for the military, “I think there was also a curiosity for both of us, wondering if we could do something like that. We’re used to pushing ourselves in track and field, but this felt a little different.”
