How many women did Joseph Naso kill?
As recorded in Deathrow’s secret, Deathrow prisoner William Nogra wrote a letter to private investigator Ken Maines in 2022, with detailed notes from the prison yard conversations, allegedly Noza spoke about killing multiple women.
Following the trail that began with information about Nogra, authorities have come to believe that 19-year-old Charlotte Cook is No. 5 on Naso’s list: “A Miami girl near Down Peninsula.” Her body was found on January 4, 1974 at the bottom of a cliff in Thornton Beach, Daly City, known as the “gateway to the Peninsula.” (The Oxygen series showed how the claim concluded that Miami mentioned the streets of Oakland, not the city of Florida, which he originally envisioned.)
However, Naso’s “big secret” said in a recorded call with Maine, played in the series, he claimed he was far more prolific than the suspected authorities.
According to Naguera, Naso said. “That’s my favorite. The truth is, I killed 26 women.”
Naso has not been charged with any other murder since his 2013 conviction for killing Colon, Parsons, Roggasch and Tafoya.
