The results are in and all Hollywood couples are winners.
As the 2026 Critics’ Choice Awards ceremony approaches on January 4, many of the attendees arrived with the perfect accessory: a plus-one. In fact, Santa Monica’s Barker Hangar proved to be the perfect venue for celebs looking to turn the awards show, which recognizes the best in both film and television, into a date night.
Among the many couples who walked the red carpet together were Adam Brody and Leighton Meester, the former of whom was nominated for Best Actor in a Comedy Series for “Nobody Wants This.”
The pair dressed up to their best for the day, with Leighton in a lilac shift dress and Adam in a pinstripe suit. (See all stars here.)
Other couples who turned the carpet into a date night included Adam Sandler and Jackie Sandler, Mark Ruffalo and wife Sunrise Coiney, and Ryan Coogler and Gingsy Coogler.
And one thing’s for sure: every couple was smiling from ear to ear as they walked the carpet together. After all, CCA has a lot to celebrate as it kicks off its 2026 awards season.
