Rob Reiner’s daughter Tracy speaks out after wife Michelle’s tragic death
Rob Reiner’s loved ones are upset.
Shortly after the prominent Hollywood director and his wife Michelle Singer Reiner were found murdered in their home on December 14th, Tracy Reiner, the daughter Rob and his late ex-wife Penny Marshall adopted during their marriage, expressed shock, saying she had met her father just one day earlier.
“I come from the best family ever,” she told NBC News. “I don’t know what to say. I’m shocked.”
Family members close to Rob and Michelle, who share children Jake Reiner, Nick Reiner, and Romy Reiner, previously confirmed the news of their deaths in a statement to Variety, saying, “We are heartbroken by their sudden deaths and ask for privacy at this incredibly difficult time.”
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, officers responded to Reiners’ home for a death investigation shortly before 4 p.m. local time on December 14, and quickly discovered two deceased people.
“The Robbery-Homicide Unit responded to a residence identified as the home of Rob Reiner,” officials confirmed. “At this time, no further details are available as this is clearly an ongoing RHD investigation into a possible homicide.”
