Alan Jackson is convinced of Nick Reiner’s innocence.
After resigning as the attorney for the 32-year-old Jackson, who was charged with the murders of his parents Rob Reiner and Michelle Reiner, Jackson gave his version of events and his former client’s culpability at a hearing in Los Angeles on January 7.
“What we’ve learned, and you can take this to the bank, is that according to the laws of this state, according to the laws of California, Nick Reiner is not guilty of murder,” he told reporters including MS NOW. “Please print that we wish him the best of luck.”
Nick has not spoken publicly about the allegations.
It was also announced that following Allan’s withdrawal from the case, the legal process will be left in the hands of public defender Kimberly Greene for the time being. Due to the change in attorney, the judge has rescheduled the arraignment to February 23, where formal arguments will be held.
Following the news, Nick’s family, including siblings Tracy Reiner, 61, Jake Reiner, 34, and Romy Reiner, 28, expressed their faith in the justice system.
