Michael B. Jordan, Timothée Chalamet and others earn 2026 BAFTA nominations
It’s royal date night for Prince William and Duchess Kate.
The Prince and Princess of Wales dazzled on the red carpet at the 2026 BAFTA Film Awards held at London’s Southbank Center on February 22, marking the first time in three years that the couple attended the event together.
While William, 43, arrived at the ceremony wearing a burgundy velvet suit jacket, where he will be presenting the night’s highest honor, the Fellowship Award, Kate, 44, complemented the color scheme with a pink off-the-shoulder dress.
William, who has been president of the British Academy of Film and Television Arts since 2010, often attends annual events with his wife, most recently attending the 2023 celebrations together. The following year, the heir to the British throne went on his own as Duchess Kate recovered from abdominal surgery, a month before she announced her cancer diagnosis.
The royal family, who have children Prince George (12), Princess Charlotte (10) and Prince Louis (7), are no strangers to the BAFTAs, but this year they were joined by first-time host Alan Cumming, who recently spoke about how they prepare for the big night.
