Owen Cooper is celebrating his historic victory at the 2025 Emmies.
The 15-year-old became the youngest performer to win an outstanding supportive actor award for limited or anthology series or films after being recognized for his intestinal crazy performances in adolescents on Netflix Crime Drama, and became the youngest male Emmy winner of all time. And while praise puts him in rare territory, Owen is not the youngest person to be recognized by the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. Its title belongs to Roxana Zal, who was 14 years old when she won Emmy in 1984 for something about Amelia, or for a supporting actress who was outstanding in limited or anthology series or films.
Despite his younger age, Owen conveyed a powerful message during his acceptance speech.
“When I first started these drama classes a few years ago, I didn’t even think I was in America.
