Offset returns to stage in wheelchair for first performance after being shot
Offset is on the road to recovery.
And the rapper, whose real name is Kiari Kendrell Cephas, returned to the stage for her first performance less than a week after she was shot outside the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Florida.
Offset returned to his proverbial horse at the University of Arkansas on April 11, just hours after being released from the hospital, performing at the school’s annual Lawfest. And although he appeared on stage in a wheelchair, he didn’t let his injury get him down, as seen in a video he shared on Instagram.
After being wheeled to center stage in a wheelchair, the “Open It Up” rapper, wearing a red long-sleeved T-shirt, black pants, a hat and a skeleton face covering, stood up and continued to perform many of his songs from his feet. Among the songs Offset performed to the students was Migos’ “Bad and Boujee.”
On April 12th, the cultural artist posted several clips of his performance on Instagram, as well as a photo of his outfit. He captioned the series “REAL LOVE” next to a red heart.
