Netflix addresses ‘Stranger Things’ secret episode theory after series finale
Warning: This article contains major spoilers for Stranger Things Season 5, Volume 3.
On a scale of 1 to 10, Millie Bobby Brown’s reaction to the Stranger Things series finale was an 11.
A week after the final episode of the series was released on Netflix, she spoke behind the scenes about her initial reaction to the fate of her character Eleven.
As seen in a video posted to her Instagram on January 9, Millie, who played Eleven in all five seasons of the show, tearfully said, “Thank you for all the years,” after watching the in-studio footage.
The 21-year-old continued, snorting as she took off her headphones. “Damn this shitty show!”
Millie captioned the video: “First time seeing that scene.”
What about the scene in question? That’s when on-screen boyfriend Mike (Finn Wolfhard) tells his pals Will (Noah Schnapp), Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo), Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin), and Max (Sadie Sink) the story of how he escaped death after Eleven destroyed the Upside Down.
