The Oscar winner starred in the upcoming Apple TV+ drama The Lost Bus alongside his 17-year-old son Levi McConaughey, and shared his thoughts on the topic of Hot Button as his eldest son advances to Hollywood.
“There’s a line between qualifications and shame,” he said in an interview with people published on September 24th.

“It’s difficult to keep your feet on the ground to sift the real thing from the BS. But Matthew, 55, has to explain,” he explained. “It’s important that he has his own ownership of who he is, and if (acting) he continues it, it’s part of finding his identity, but it can’t be his full identity.”
