The seven-time MotoGP world champion will not take action until November after remarried his shoulder when he crashed over the weekend.

Newly crowned MotoGP champion Mark Marquez misses the next two rounds of his season in Australia and Malaysia after suffering a fracture and ligament injury to his right shoulder in a crash at the Indonesian Grand Prix.
Aprilia rider Marco Betzecchi collided with the rear of Marquez’s Ducati on Sunday, with the pair both nuisanced to gravel at high speeds.

Marquez, who won his seventh MotoGP Championship at the Japanese Grand Prix on September 28th, holds his shoulder in shock after leaning down at the side of the track for a few minutes.
The injury was on the shoulder of his arm, and Marquez was broken at the Spanish Grand Prix, opening season in July 2020 at Geres.
In a statement Monday, Ducati said Marquez had “fractured at the root of the corac bone process and suffered a ligament injury to his right shoulder.”
“Clinical examinations and radiological evaluations ruled out the relationship with previous injuries and confirmed no significant bone displacement.”
Marquez still managed to compete in the Grand Prix in Portugal (November 7-9) and Valencia (November 14-16), but he emphasized that he would not rush to recover.
“My goal is to come back before the end of the season, but not rush things beyond the doctor’s recommendations,” the Spaniard added.
“With both my personal and team main goals being achieved, my priorities are to recover properly and return to 100%.”
