Dor Turgeman scored the only goal for New England (9-16-8, 35 points) as the fifth revolution appeared in the last six games.

Argentine star forward Lionel Messi did not score in his second straight match, but did so by supporting Intermiami’s three goals.

With his first goal contribution under a fierce downspout in the second half, Messi fired the ball in the 32nd minute, passing New England goalkeeper Matt Turner.

Just before halftime, Messi approached New England’s target and intercepted an attempt to clear. He then dropped it for Alba.

The Revolution took the ball past midfield from Carls Gill and then won for victory in the 59th minute. As Turgeman worked the ball near a box in Miami, he fired a line drive past Intermiami goalkeeper Rocco Rios Novo to reduce the deficit to 2-1.

Rios Novo got off to a start in favor of Intermiami’s regular starting keeper Oscar Ustali.

Intermiami responded immediately. Less than a minute later, the field rushed, Allende streaked towards the goal and finished with another assist from Messi.

Three minutes later, Alba tucked another score from an incredible pass from Telasco Segovia.
