Kim Kardashian’s Oscar night didn’t go as planned.
In fact, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star fell into the bushes on her way to the Vanity Fair Oscars afterparty. At the afterparty, her sisters Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner (who were joined by boyfriend Timothée Chalamet) and mother Kris Jenner also appeared on the red carpet. In a behind-the-scenes TikTok posted on March 15, Kim tweeted to her longtime friend Stephanie Shepard, “Maybe these shoes should be tighter,” while walking along an outdoor path surrounded by greenery.
This comment ended up being foreshadowed, and footage of Kim screaming as she fell backwards into a bush was then cut.
“I’m sorry! I’m sorry!” Kim apologized as passersby, including a woman holding a box of pink pastries, helped her to her feet. “It’s my ankle. I’ll try walking with it.”
Wearing a gold crystal-embellished dress by Gucci, paired with pleather shoes and 8-inch platform heels by Lorraine Schwartz jewels, the 45-year-old survived the stumble unscathed, but felt guilty for accidentally coming into contact with “that poor woman”.
