Kendra Duggar’s children are still her number one. Priority 1.
In a phone call to her husband, Joseph Duggar, ahead of her extradition to Florida to face charges in the child sex abuse case, Kendra shared some insight into her journey to being reunited with her children.
Kendra, 27, and Joseph’s four children do not appear to be with her since she was arrested on March 20 on child endangerment and false accusations, as Joseph mentioned the children’s absence in multiple phone calls. Just two days earlier, Joseph was arrested and taken into custody on suspicion of sexually abusing a 9-year-old child during a family vacation in Florida in 2020.
In a March 24 phone call with her husband from the jail, Kendra described the days of her and Joseph’s arrest as “a hell of a ride,” adding, “But then when you take my baby away from me, it’s like the very people that I was going to pour my life into,” according to audio obtained by People.
In his response, Joseph, 31, asserted that the children were Kendra’s “goal now,” according to the paper.
In another phone call on March 22, Joseph, 31, asked how the children were, to which Kendra replied, “From what I hear, they’re fine,” according to People.
