Kelsea Ballerini is going to sit in silence in the park.
After all, when the “I Sit in Parks” singer arrived at the 2026 Grammy Awards, where her album Patterns was nominated for Best Contemporary Country Album, she did so with a new goal in mind.
“Now I’m back to real life,” she told Zuri Hall during E! Live broadcast from the red carpet. “I’m not writing, but I’ve always been a chronic oversharer, and for the first time at age 32, I think I’m keeping it in check.”
“My life might just be my life for a while,” Kelsey mused as she wore a custom gold dress by Etro to the awards ceremony. (You can see all the red carpet details here.)
The renewed commitment to privacy comes after she and boyfriend Chase Stokes split in September before confirming they were back together in the new year.
“It’s been a troubling year for the mind, a troubling year for what’s coming in, and a troubling year for how it’s gotten out of our control,” Kelsey wrote on her Instagram Stories on Dec. 31. “But all I want to say is that I really love love.”
