Keith Urban Changed Song lyrics inspired by Nicole Kidman Romance before Breakup News
Keith Urban hasn’t made any memories with Nicole Kidman.
Three days after the country singer and nearly 20 years of wife break up, the new Single Keith returned to the stage in Hershey, Pennsylvania as part of his ongoing High and Alive World Tour. But that doesn’t mean he left his loved one behind.
The October 2nd show featured Nicole and their two daughters, Rose (17) and 14-year-old Faith Margaret on Sunday, were held in an existing slideshow, played during Keith’s “Heart Like A Hometown.”
A few days ago, on Keith’s September 27 show, he raised an eyebrow by changing the lyrics to his song “The Fighter,” inspired by his relationship with Nicole.
The lyrics originally read, “When Tryna reaches you, baby I will be a fighter,” but he changed the words to address the musician Maggie Beau, who was playing on his side.
“If they become Tryna, Maggie,” the 57-year-old sang, “I’ll be your guitar player.”
