About her romance with former Ryan Seacrest
When Julianne began dating Ryan Seacrest in 2010, she was introduced to a new world. A gorgeous holiday, courtside Lakers seating, and a charming date night.
“The rug was wiped out from under me and I was just flying,” she said in an August 2024 episode of Dachshell’s Podcast Armchair Expert. “I was going through things I didn’t even know existed, but I was feeling this unsettling.
Julian saw herself change.
“I was once again overcompensated and someone was adaptable to fit exactly what I needed to make them happy,” she added. “What I’ve noticed over the years is that I don’t know if I’ve ever really fallen in love with anyone, but I love the feeling of being loved, and let me make it what I need so that I can love.
When Julian and Ryan split 2013, she said many “Brentwood moms and producers” questioned the decision.
“They’re like, ‘Your life is perfectly set,'” she said. “And I was, ‘But I didn’t build it.’ And of course, I was competitive, like, ‘You have to create this,’ “It’s not mine, I want to feel pride in doing it.” ”
