When it comes to gifts, Makeup Icon values personalization over price. “Think about what people really love,” she said. “My assistant at work knows that I love caviar. It’s one of my favorite gifts. I also really appreciate the really good olive oil and the soft cashmere socks. These are definitely on my list for this year, both as a gift and as a gift.”
“I love simple things; basic things with a little bit of luxury,” she continues. “One of my favorite gifts for both the giver and the receiver is a Louis Vuitton scarf. It’s so simple and elegant. It comes in a few colors that appeal to me, but it’s always a great gift.”
But her most meaningful gift is a very personal one. “My favorite simple gift is a framed photo of my grandchild. I look at it every day,” she said. “My other favorite photo is of my three sons at my son’s wedding. They must have had some nice cocktails because they were all so happy arm in arm. But this is one of my favorite photos.”
