Jessica Alba’s acting memories aren’t always as sweet as honey.
The Honest Company founder admits he didn’t enjoy filming the scene in the 2005 film Fantastic Four in which his character Sue Storm appears completely naked on a bridge.
“I thought it was terrible,” Jessica said during a talk at the Red Sea Film Festival, according to Variety. “It was very humiliating in real life.”
At the time, the Honey actress felt her nudity in the film, which also starred Chris Evans (The Human Torch), Michael Chiklis (Ben Grimm) and Ioan Gruffudd (Mr. Fantastic), went against her upbringing.
“I grew up in a pretty conservative household and I’m a pretty reserved person,” the 44-year-old explained. “That scene scared me for weeks. I’ve been suffering from whiplash ever since.”
But that doesn’t mean Jessica didn’t have fond memories of taking on the role of Sue Storm, also known as the “Invisible Woman” in Marvel Comics.
“She was my dream woman,” she said. “She was very maternal, very kind, but not pushy and spoke her mind openly. She had a great moral compass.”
