Jason Kelce isn’t happy with the Philadelphia Eagles’ recent fumble.
After his team lost 23-29 to the San Francisco 49ers on Jan. 11, eliminating them from the NFL playoffs, the former Eagles center didn’t shy away from discussing what his players could have done differently.
“I know it wasn’t the best performance of the year offensively,” he said on ESPN’s Monday Night Countdown on Jan. 12. “They had the No. 1, high-paid offense in the league and were mediocre overall. That’s unacceptable.”
And the former NFL pro, who played 13 years with the Philadelphia team before retiring in 2024, blamed one thing for the losing performance. It was that the players weren’t concentrating on the game. As he says, “They had a chance to win last night’s game and the guys just didn’t play! Got it? We’re done with this.”
Although the 38-year-old is no longer active, he has opened up about how life in the public eye has affected his young family, which includes daughters Wyatt, 6, Elliott, 4, Bennett, 2, and Finley, 9 months, with wife Kylie Kelsey.
