After her husband Austin Sosa filed for divorce on January 22, the Sin City native spoke out about the sudden end of their relationship.
“I was completely blindsided by the divorce papers that came out of nowhere,” the 46-year-old told Page Six in a statement released on January 22nd. “I was with Austin the night before our divorce became public. Like many marriages, we had our normal challenges, but I truly believed we were working on our relationship.”
Jamie also denied any suggestion of infidelity that led to their breakup, stressing that “the recent interactions that have been referred to publicly are strictly professional business meetings and have nothing to do with this private matter.”
Eh! The News has reached out to Jamie’s representatives for comment, but has not received a response.
Jamie and Austin have not publicly confirmed their marriage, but the Hart of Dixie actress announced her engagement in September. Months later, she insisted that everything is fine between her and Austin, with her rep telling Us Weekly on January 6 that she is “very happy with their relationship.”
