‘The Masked Singer’ bids farewell to ‘Real Housewives’ star with tear-jerking revelation
Nasu from The Masked Singer has officially been chopped up.
The mysterious celebrity, who wore a colorful eggplant costume, was eliminated on the March 4 episode of the FOX reality series after an intense eight-week singing competition. In a big reveal, it was actor Jack Wagner who showed off his amazing vocal chops during season 14.
Before the send-off, the Melrose Place alum teased the judges and viewers about his true identity in a night dedicated to the late rocker Ozzy Osbourne.
“Ozzy, what an inspiration,” Nas says in the video, revealing an unexpected connection to Ozzy’s widow Sharon Osbourne. “Talented, fearless, and he knew how to rock…and so did I. Back in the day, I lived big, from billboards to Broadway. I even shared the spotlight with Sharon.”
This clue piqued guest judge Kelly Osbourne’s interest, but Nas’s hints didn’t end there.
“I’ll admit, fame got to me and I got a little too wild,” the When Calls the Heart star said of his Hollywood heyday. “I started dating a famous rocker’s girlfriend. It was a big mistake. He sent his friends to tell me, oh, yeah, I was turning into an eggplant parmesan. Lately, I’ve calmed down. Sorry guys, this vegetable is off the market. But that rock ‘n’ roll spirit is still there.”
