In 2023, Lambert explained why she regularly paid homage to McLoughlin’s abs, arms and other body parts, saying she was simply doing a service to the world.
“Given my (musical) talent, I believe my job is to bring songs to people,” she told FOX News Digital at Clive Davis’ Pre-Grammy Gala in February. “So when you receive this gift, you should give it to the people.”
That said, McLoughlin, who first walked the red carpet with Lambert at the 2019 ACM Awards, looks great in a suit.
“This is Brendan’s second Grammy,” Lambert said, referring to the fancy date weekend in 2023. However, since the 2021 Grammys will be held outdoors, she continued, “It was still a little weird when he came before two years ago. So this will be the first normal Grammys he’ll attend with me.”
Although she was nominated for four awards, the Palomino artist said she was not performing, saying, “So this is the night to sit down and watch the show.”
When asked what the secret is to being each other’s constant companions, McLoughlin said: “Everything is so much easier when you can actually sit down on the couch and talk about what’s on your mind and what’s on your mind.”
But Lambert wouldn’t want to sit with just anyone.
“In a situation like that, it’s great to have a partner by your side who supports you and loves you and believes in you,” she told People. “He loves me, and that’s a really great thing in my life.”
