“When it came out, I had TMZ call me because even the people in England and France wanted some kind of statement on the subject,” Tapia de Veer said. “People were furious at the change in theme and I thought it was funny. I texted the producers. At one point I said it was great to give them a long version with OOH-LOO-LOOS.
The composer said, “I mean, at that point, I think we already had our last battle forever.
Howard Stern Show on April 8th, White called it a “b-ch” move for Tapia de Vert to air such grievances.
“I honestly don’t know what happened,” White said.
They “never even fought,” the producer continued. “He says we rebutted…it was basically me giving him a note.”
Their collaboration “worked” in the first two seasons, White said. Because they shared ideas. By season 3, Tapia de Veer said, “I didn’t want to go through the process with me, he didn’t want to get a note from me, he didn’t want to go to the session.”
And White added, “He definitely does a big deal from the creative difference.”
