Harrison Ford and Calista Flockhart turn heads with a rare date night at the 2025 Emmy Awards
Harrison Ford is undaunted by his accomplishments.
In fact, at the 2026 Actor of the Year Awards ceremony held at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles on March 1, the Star Wars actor was presented with the Lifetime Achievement Award by his SAG-AFTRA colleagues and was visibly moved to receive such an honor, recalling that early personal struggles inspired him to pursue acting.
“My junior year of college, I was a little lost,” he said at a ceremony hosted by Kristen Bell. “I was a failure at school. I felt lonely and isolated, but I found out that my people were people who performed in theater, storytellers, and people I thought were sociopaths and nerds.”
Fighting back tears, Harrison acknowledged his co-stars both on camera and behind the scenes, saying, “Working with other actors is one of the great joys of my life.”
He also sent a special shout out to his loved ones, including his “extraordinarily beautiful wife” Calista Flockhart, who accompanied him to the event, saying they “have given me love and courage through all of this.”
