The world of fashion has lost one of its most influential eyes.

Giorgio ArmaniThe founder of Armani, who launched the label of the same name in 1975, has passed away, the company confirmed in a statement on September 4th. He was 91 years old.

“In endless sadness, the Armani Group announces the death of Giorgio Armani, the creator, founder and tireless driving force,” the fashion brand said in a statement. “He was always called out with respect and respect from his employees and collaborators, and died peacefully surrounded by his loved ones.”

The company, which revolutionized pre-made couture, has “a void left by those who founded and raised this family with vision, passion and dedication.”

In fact, Armani is very focused on his work, celebrating his net worth of over $12 billion among the wealthiest members of the LGBTQ+ community.

“He wasn’t bored until the end, working until the last day, focusing on his company, his collection and many projects in the ongoing and future,” the company’s statement continued. “IT is exactly his spirit, and we, our employees and our family who have always worked with Mr. Armani, are committed to protecting what he has built and moving his company forward in his memory with respect, responsibility and love. ”
