Tyson Fury returns to heavyweight after defeating Arslanbek Makhmudov by unanimous points decision.

Former world heavyweight champion Tyson Fury marked his return to the ring with a comprehensive and unanimous points victory over Arslanbek Makhmudov at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London.
British boxer Fury won 120-108 on two of the judges’ scorecards and defeated his Russian opponent 119-109 on the other after a maximum of 12 rounds on Saturday.

Mahmudov got off to a good start in the first round, throwing a left and connecting with an overhand right.
However, by the third round, Mahmudov was already showing signs of fatigue, and Fury changed his stance and landed a one-two to the Russian’s jaw.
The bout continued in similar fashion until the final bell, with Fury approaching a ‘Battle of Britain’ superfight with fellow former world champion Anthony Joshua watching from ringside.
“I’ve never had a problem getting in the ring with you. I hit you when we were kids and I’m going to hit you again,” Joshua said as Fury shouted from the ring.
“With all due respect, tonight is your night. I’ll be in the ring opposite you in due course,” Joshua added.
“You’re not going to tell me what to do. I’ve been following you for the last 10 years. When you’re ready, come see me…I’m the boss. You work for me.”
