Two weeks later, walker The star died at the age of 86, but his family blamed online users for creating and spreading AI-generated posts about the actor.
“We are aware that since Chuck’s death, numerous AI-generated videos and posts have been circulating online,” his family said in a statement on Chuck’s Instagram Story on April 1. “The content contains false and misleading information about the circumstances of his death, his health history, who was present, and more.””
Among the posts that went viral on Facebook was an AI-generated photo of a coffin with his name surrounded by stars that read: sylvester stallone, arnold schwarzenegger and jackie chan.
“These claims are completely false,” they continued. “This includes fabricated reports about past medical issues and false narratives about family relationships.”
A fighter’s lover issued a petition to the people.
“Please do not believe or share any information unless it comes directly from the Norris family or an authorized representative of the family,” the message concludes. “Thank you for your understanding and for continuing to keep our family in your thoughts and prayers.”
