The former Chelsea and Roma forward has been linked with a move from the Premier League champions to the Saudi Professional League.

Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah will leave the club at the end of the season, the Premier League side announced in a statement on Tuesday.
“Out of respect and gratitude for his supporters, Salah has expressed his desire to make this announcement at the earliest opportunity in order to provide them with transparency about his future,” a club statement said.

The 33-year-old Egypt international confirmed the news in a video message on his social media accounts.
“Unfortunately, that day has come. This is the first part of the farewell,” Salah said. “I will be leaving Liverpool at the end of this season.
“I never imagined that this club, this city, these people would become part of my life. Liverpool is more than just a football club. It’s passion, it’s history, it’s spirit,” he added. “Words cannot explain it to anyone who is not part of this club.
“We celebrated victories, won the most important trophies and fought through the most difficult times of our lives together.”
Signed from AS Roma in 2017, Salah helped Liverpool win two Premier League titles, the Champions League, FIFA Club World Cup, UEFA Super Cup, FA Cup and two League Cups, establishing himself as one of the club’s best ever players and also winning the FA Community Shield.
He made 435 appearances and scored 255 goals, making him the club’s third all-time top scorer, during which time he won the Premier League’s Golden Boot award four times.
