Disneyland is responding to an alarming situation.
The theme park said several employees at the Southern California resort were hospitalized after being exposed to an odor that caused dizziness and shortness of breath.
“This afternoon, construction materials used by a contractor caused a reaction behind the scenes at Disneyland Park, and the area was inspected by appropriate response teams,” Disneyland officials told E! news He said this in a statement on March 10th. “Several cast members were treated and released by paramedics at the scene, but at this point eight cast members experienced dizziness and shortness of breath and were transported to local hospitals.”
“Out of an abundance of caution, we have removed guests from the adjacent stage area and plan to reopen it soon,” a Disney representative added.
Earlier in the day, fire personnel were dispatched to the Anaheim theme park around 12:30 p.m. local time after receiving reports of an unknown odor in the Tomorrowland area of the resort near the Anaheim theme park. star wars– Themed Attractions Star Tours, Anaheim Police Sgt. matt satter said Los Angeles Times.
