16-year-old Arsenal winger Max Dauman became the Premier League’s youngest scorer after scoring a stunning stoppage-time goal in his team’s 2-0 win over Everton.
Dauman collected the ball in the middle of his own half, dribbled past two Everton players and ran unchallenged from the halfway line into the empty net. Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford was stuck on the field after driving forward towards a corner.

Dauman, an English football prodigy, was 16 years and 73 days old and had just appeared in his third Premier League game after making two substitute appearances earlier in the season.
He beat former Everton player James Vaughan’s record of 16 years and 270 days, when he scored against Crystal Palace in 2005.
In November, Dauman came on as a substitute in the second half against Slavia Prague, making him the youngest player in Champions League history at 15 years and 308 days old.
Dauman is still attending school. He was 14 when Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta invited him to train with the first team in December last year, and he starred in the club’s pre-season Asian tour against AC Milan and Newcastle.
To comply with the Premier League’s regulations for players under the age of 18, Dauman must change into his Arsenal shirt during training sessions and matches in a separate dressing room from his senior team-mates.
