Cynthia Erivo carried her broom across the pond.

The Wicked: For Good actress will not be attending the 2026 Golden Globe Awards in Beverly Hills on January 11, as she is preparing for a one-woman show in London.

Eh! According to news reports, Cynthia will be absent from the awards ceremony where she is nominated for Best Female Actor in a Motion Picture Musical or Comedy as she is working on the upcoming production of Dracula on the West End.

According to Variety, the three-time Oscar nominee will play 23 characters on stage, including the titular vampire.

Cynthia had just reached the end of the yellow brick road in Wicked when the musical sequel was released in theaters in November. Still, it’s an experience that will stay with her forever.

In fact, she previously said an emotional goodbye to Elphaba, noting how the character of Elphaba has made her a sentimental woman ever since.

“I could write an essay, a poem, a piece of Shakespearean prose explaining what this journey means to me, what this time has taught me, how it has made me grow,” she captioned a Nov. 21 Instagram post. “I can try to give some measure to the love that I felt and experienced.”
