
core weave As infrastructure demand continues to rise, the company announced Friday that it has signed a multi-year agreement with Anthropic to power its Claude artificial intelligence model.

“With the addition of Anthropic, 9 out of 10 leading AI model providers now rely on CoreWeave’s platform, reflecting the growing demand for infrastructure that can support AI at scale,” CoreWeave said in an announcement.

The agreement with Anthropic will initially focus on a “phased infrastructure rollout” and could be expanded, according to the announcement.

“We are committed to capitalizing on the opportunities of this generation to significantly grow and expand our business,” CoreWeave CEO Mike Intrater said Friday on CNBC’s “Squawk on the Street.”
“We need the opportunity to expand, and expansion is expensive,” Intrater added.
Anthropic’s Claude and its AI-powered coding assistant Claude Code have exploded in popularity this year. Anthropic announced Monday that its annual run rate has exceeded $30 billion, up from $9 billion at the end of 2025.
