2026 Olympics: Officials respond to ski jumper’s claim he had acid injected into his penis
This may be the only time these A-listers count as a B-team.
Usher and Stanley Tucci would normally be in the spotlight, but the spotlight is now on the athletes on the U.S. team aiming for gold at the 2026 Milan-Cortina Olympics.
Familiar names like Mikaela Shiffrin, Alex Hall, Lindsey Vonn, Chloe Kim, and Alex Ferreira round out the team’s veteran squad, as well as first- and second-time Olympians like Alisa Liu, Ilya Marinin, and Mary Bokok who are eager to prove they have what it takes to make it to the top.
Nevertheless, the opening ceremony on February 6 was still star-studded, with the Olympics officially opening in two major venues: Milan and Cortina d’Ampezzo. (However, Olympic events will also be held in Valtellina and Val di Fiemme during the Games.)
Adding to the festivities was Mariah Carey, who wore a $15 million necklace by Revuma High Jewelry and performed “Volare” in Italian.
