Brittany Snow and Malin Akerman react to potential ‘The Hunting Wife’ Season 2 at 2025 VMAs
Brittany Snow thinks these theories are pretty cool.
The Pitch Perfect alum revealed that she fully supports fans who have speculated that there may be a romantic connection between Chloe, the character she played on the 2012 series, and Anna Kendrick’s Beca.
“It wasn’t necessarily written that way,” Brittany shared exclusively with E! News clip from the October 28 episode of Amanda Hirsch’s podcast, “Not Skinny, But Not Fat.” “Apparently, I’m giving off energy and I’m really grateful for that,” he jokes.
However, Brittany admitted that she had seen a fan edit of the first movie’s shower scene, which appears to show Chloe and Beca exchanging sensual glances. And according to the John Tucker Must Die actress, that was no coincidence at all.
“It was a typical two girls in the shower,” Brittany explained. “And I think Kendrick and I wanted to do more of that.”
They recalled that they wanted the scene to have “a little bit more of a spicy feel to give it some excitement,” and continued, “Then it turned out like this, but we never expected it to mean so much to people.”
