Maggie has appeared in numerous television movies and short-lived television series, and even reprized her role as Sean’s girlfriend Angela in an episode of Girl Meets World, even though the circumstances surrounding her exit from Boy Meets World were clearly less than ideal.
In 2022’s Pod Meets World, McGee told Fishel, Strong, and Friedl that he was told that he had specifically asked the showrunners not to have Angela appear in the 2000 series finale, which resulted in her leaving for Europe prematurely while everyone else was finishing up their unfinished business.
Although Friedel insisted that “that never happened,” McGee said she regrets her past troubled relationship with Fishel and noted that they could have been a better team during their time on the show. Fischel agreed, saying, “We could have helped each other.”
Maggie, who was previously married to Cortland Davis, is now back in the fan convention fold, reuniting with the aforementioned trio on March 31, 2023, Daniels’ 96th birthday. She is a singer, artist, and mother of children Lamia, Langston, and Ezra.
In 2024, Maggie announced that she was expecting her fourth child at the age of 54, but revealed later that year that she had suffered a miscarriage.
“I did lose a baby,” Maggie said on a September episode of The Tamron Hall Show. “It was unexpected, because it was nearing the end of the first semester. Actually, I don’t know the real reason.”
