The Putman brothers are remembering an unimaginable tragedy.
On September 26, six months after patriarch Bill “Papa” Putman, matriarch Barb “Neenie” Putman, and stepdaughter Megan Putman were killed in a car accident, Blake Putman, father of Noah, 15, Lulu, 13, and Alena, 11, with Megan, gave an update on his family’s well-being.
“I remember everything. I remember the car hitting us. I remember being on the road. I remember a lot of the scenes inside the car,” Blake, 37, who was driving the car when it was struck by the semi-truck, said in an interview published March 13.
The “Meet the Putmans” star recalled, “He knocked on my door. I don’t really know how God got me to where I am today.”
Blake, who was carrying eight family members, including his parents, wife, children and brother Brandon Putman’s 11-year-old daughter Gia, was driving one of three cars as the Putman family headed home from a Noah football game. A semi-truck crashed through a stop sign about a mile from their home in Caro, Michigan, killing three people, the Tuscola County Sheriff’s Office previously told NBC News.
