Robert Irwin reveals what’s next after winning ‘Dancing with the Stars’ (Exclusive)
Like a sister, like a brother.
Ten years after Bindi Irwin won the mirrorball trophy on Dancing with the Stars with partner Derek Hough, she watched her brother Robert Irwin and partner Witney Carson do the same and couldn’t have been happier.
“I love you so much,” she wrote in the caption of a Nov. 25 Instagram post. “Words can’t express how proud I am of you. You earned this.”
In the attached video, Bindi can be seen tightly hugging her brother, who gets emotional as he holds the trophy in his hand.
In another post, Bindi wrote, “Two mirror balls called Australia Zoo home!!!! Congratulations and all the love in the world to @robertirwinphotography and @witneycarson. Oh my god. A. Night.”
And in a particularly sweet video, Bindi’s husband Chandler Powell shared a clip of the moment he, Bindi, and her mother Terri Irwin knew Robert was the winner. Bindi threw her hands in his face, Terry jumped for joy, and Chandler grinned widely and clapped.
