“I’ve been a football fan for a long time. I mean, I remember when the Cowboys were good,” the rapper said in his opening monologue. “I remember when the Chiefs were bad.”
“And I remember,” the “Young, Wild, Free” hitmaker continued, before trailing off. “What, Bill Belichick’s girlfriend wasn’t even born yet?”
However, it is clear that there was little negativity between the two. Last year, the pair celebrated four years of ‘meeting’ when Bill struck up a conversation with Jordon, who was in college at the time, confirming reports that the pair met by happy chance on a plane ride.
One of the photos posted on the Instagram carousel on February 11th featured a copy of Warren Goldfarb’s textbook Deductive Logic, signed by Bill. He wrote, “Thank you for teaching me the logic course! Safe travels!” before signing his name and listing his Super Bowl wins.
And the post’s caption is a nod to the book, as Jordan wrote, “Happy Meetyversary @billbelichick. Cheers for still giving me a long philosophical lecture 4 years later.”
