“Yesterday I had a colonoscopy. I’m sharing this because I think a lot of people are surprised or embarrassed to see this,” Beverly explained in her post. “When he looked into it, he discovered that I had the largest precancerous polyps he had ever seen on a young woman,” she continued. “Advocating for myself almost saved my life. I followed up three years later and had another colonoscopy, which came out completely clean.”
