Conor Benn dominated Chris Eubank Jr. for 12 rounds to earn a unanimous decision victory in a middleweight bout at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday, avenging a loss in their first encounter in April.

Benn lost the bout with all three judges scoring it 116-112 in his opponent’s favor, but there was no doubt who won Saturday’s bout as the 29-year-old put on the most complete performance of his professional career over 36 minutes.

As in the first fight, Benn came out strong in the opening round, getting under his opponent’s jab and landing some hard strikes, but this time there was no let-up as Eubank Jr. struggled from the opening bell.

Eubank Jr. tried to use his length and reach advantage midway through the third round, punishing Benn for getting his head on his front foot, but Benn’s quick footwork allowed him to get in and out without taking too much damage.

With Benn controlling the tempo, Eubank Jr. was forced to lock his opponent in a clinch to avoid damage if his guard was broken.

Sensing his opponent was starting to tire, Ben stepped on the gas in the seventh round and landed a brutal shot to the body, slowing his opponent down even further. Eubank Jr. tried to fight back, but his usually powerful jab had little malicious intent until he finally landed late in the eighth round.

It was a great result for Eubank Jr., with Benn going for a break in the final frame and slamming his opponent into the canvas twice, with the bell saving Eubank Jr. at the end of another epic clash between the two British boxers.

Ben and Eubank’s feud is over

The fathers of the two boxers had a bitter rivalry in the 1990s that was reflected in their sons’ two 2025 matches, so Benn scored the family’s first win over Eubanks and immediately drew a line under it saying there would be no rematch.

“I think this is the end of the Ben and Eubank story. It’s over. It’s over. It’s over…this is it,” he said, before taking a swipe at his detractors and praising Eubank Jr.

“Everyone’s saying, can’t I box? Put that in your pipe and smoke it… Credit to Chris. That’s all I’ll say. Thank you for sharing the ring with me.”

Eubank Jr., on the other hand, took the defeat in stride, making no excuses for his flat performance and praising his opponent as being better.

“I went through hell and back and got to this night. That’s what it is. I tried my best, and listen, that kid fought hard. He fought tough. He’s got power,” he said.

“Maybe we’ll find something new between him and me, maybe we won’t, but for now, it’s all about this guy. This is his night.”
