Alexia Putelas shined for the Catalan football giants in their first match at the rebuilt Camp Nou, building to a 6-2 quarter-final first-leg victory.

As Barça continued to dominate, Pahor and Graham Hansen squandered another lead, and Esmee Burguts scored the sixth goal with a tap-in after a fine move that involved Patri Ghijaro and Clara Serragiordi.
Jubilant Barça fans gave Putelas a well-deserved applause when he was substituted late on. The 32-year-old star’s contract expires at the end of the season, but with his performance like this, there will be strong calls for him to stay.
