Bad Bunny probably won’t be saying “cheese” any time soon.
Hours after the Grammy Award winner dominated the Apple Music Super Bowl halftime show on February 8, he cleared his Instagram feed of all posts.
And the 31-year-old didn’t stop there. In fact, Bad Bunny (real name Benito Antonio Martinez Ocasio) also deleted his profile picture and unfollowed all the profiles he used to communicate. The only trace the Puerto Rican native left was a link in his bio to his 2025 album Debí Tirar Más Fotos.
It remains to be seen why he made such a drastic change to his social media pages and whether it’s a hint at new music to come. But the move came after a culturally rich Super Bowl halftime show at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif., where the Seattle Seahawks defeated the New England Patriots.
On this day, Bad Bunny donned an all-white outfit and began a powerful performance of “Titty Me Pregnant” in a sugar cane field, with backup dancers filling the field behind him. His set was a love letter to Puerto Rican culture, featuring an elderly man toppling dominoes, children sleeping on chairs at a party, village houses, and people enjoying Piraguan sweets.
