Super Bowl 2026: Bad Bunny calls out Lady Gaga and Ricky Martin as surprise guests at halftime
Bad Bunny just wanted his fans to dance.
The Puerto Rican superstar took to the stage inside Levi’s Stadium for the Apple Music Super Bowl halftime show on February 8th, along with some familiar faces.
Paying homage to his home island of Puerto Rico, the 31-year-old had celebrities including Cardi B, Alix Earle and Jessica Alba dance on stage. But it was Ricky Martin and Lady Gaga who took to the mic for two surprise performances.
Lady Gaga, who headlined her own Super Bowl halftime show in 2017, sang her and Bruno Mars’ song “Die With a Smile,” danced to Bad Bunny’s hand, and sported a blue dress adorned with a red floral brooch to match her nails and lipstick.
As for Ricky Martin, in addition to his performance at the football game, he praised the musician ahead of the show after Bad Bunny won Album of the Year at the Grammy Awards.
“I know what it means to be successful without letting go of where you come from,” Ricky wrote in the Puerto Rican newspaper El Nuevo Dia, according to Billboard. “That’s why what you have achieved is not just a historic musical feat, but a cultural and human victory.”
