Joseph Baena withdraws from competition.
Arnold Schwarzenegger’s 28-year-old son followed in his father’s footsteps at his first bodybuilding contest in Denver on March 28, dominating his opponents with his impressive physique.
During the NPC Natural Colorado competition, Joseph placed first in several categories including Men’s Open Bodybuilding Heavyweight, Men’s Classic Physique – Novice, Men’s Classic Physique – True Novice, and took second place in Men’s Classic Physique – Open Class C.
In an Instagram post after the event, Joseph (whose mother is Mildred Baena) shared several photos of himself bending and posing on stage, praising his accomplishment with the caption, “Mission Accomplished!”
While Joseph’s bodybuilding success certainly mirrors his father’s success in the fitness world, including five Mr. Universe wins and seven Mr. Olympia titles, the Dancing with the Stars alum isn’t just relying on good genes. Days before the contest, he gave a glimpse of his strict diet, saying that establishing healthy habits is an important part of his regimen.
