Apple Martin paints a sky full of truth.
In fact, the eldest of Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin’s two children categorically denied an internet rumor that she was once expelled from school for bullying.
“I didn’t want to reply, but this story is completely false and has gotten out of hand,” Apple, 21, said in a social media post that was screenshotted and posted to Instagram Stories on February 16. “I have never been expelled from any school, especially not for bullying anyone.”
“I fully understand that not everyone likes me, and that’s okay!” she continued. “The internet is a place where people can share their opinions. But this rumor is completely untrue. I’m not that type of person and everyone close to me knows that.”
The model’s comments come a year after she received backlash online for her viral video with fellow debutante Alienor Lopin de Montmol at Le Bal des Debutantes in Paris, in which she exuded an energy that was labeled a “mean girl” on the internet, in which Apple can be seen jumping into the frame and posing confidently.
People read her body language and she cheekily handled the situation with a simple lip sync.
