‘1000 Pounds’ Sisters star Amy Slaton marries Brian Lovborn at Haunted Inn on Halloween
Amy and Tammy Slaton are feeling the weight of family drama.
A new trailer for Season 8 of 1000 Pound Sisters shows the sibling duo’s once-close bond seemingly on thin ice, detailing an ongoing rift.
“I feel like we’re estranged,” Tammy, 39, said of her sister in a confessional interview. “She used to be my best friend.”
However, the relationship between the two seems to have changed significantly. When Tammy’s brother Chris Combs asked her if she and Amy “stopped fighting,” she replied, “If Amy is going to shut up, so will I.”
And the antagonism appears to be mutual. Later in the trailer for the TLC series, Amy, 38, has an explosive reaction after sitting down face-to-face with Tammy, as if she’s gone south.
“I can’t stand her toxic ass anymore,” she said, breaking down in tears. “I’m done.”
The reality star’s sister, Misty Wentworth, provided insight into her ongoing feud, claiming Tammy called Amy a “no-good mom” over her children Gage, 5, and Glenn, 3, with ex-husband Michael Halterman.
