‘1000 Pound Sisters’ star Amy Slaton details her ‘ghost’ wedding to husband Brian Lovborn
Amy Slaton is hoping her dream wedding turns into a nightmare.
As it turns out, the 1000 Pound Sisters star and her husband Brian Lovborn specifically requested that their Halloween wedding be “haunted.”
“Let’s just say our bridesmaids will be ghosts,” Amy told E!’s Wedding Planner. News has an exclusive look at the Jan. 6 Season 8 premiere of the TLC show. “I’m talking about real-life ghosts, not costumes.”
However, the 38-year-old noted that some of her wedding guests weren’t too thrilled about the idea of her sharing the altar with a few shadowy spirits.
Amy, whose family includes sister Tammy Slaton and brother Chris Combs, said: “I hope my siblings will join in as well.” “But they’re religious people, and they have a lot of problems with haunted areas.”

As Amy’s wedding planner pointed out, many brides “book a year in advance” to secure a spot.
“I didn’t know about Brian a year ago,” Amy joked. “I just met him 10 months ago.”
