Since Spotify launched AI DJs, Amazon Music has developed its own AI-powered features, such as AI-generated playlists and AI-assist searches, competing more effectively with the music giants.
Now, Amazon Music is launching a new feature called “Weekly Vibe,” designed to further personalize your listening experience. This feature is deployed today to US customers in all subscription tiers within both iOS and Android apps.
Recognizing the common challenges Avid Music Streamers face – If you get bored of the same song after extensive listening, weekly Vibe aims to keep your playlist fresh each week. Every Monday, the weekly atmosphere uses AI to create personalized playlists that reflect recent listening habits, taking into account the evolving “musical atmosphere” and interests, the company explains.
Additionally, they propose new similar music to enhance the discovery experience.

To find the weekly vibe playlist, go to “Library” at the bottom of the screen and select “Made for You.” Here is this week’s playlist with new titles, descriptions and curated songs. Each playlist focuses on a specific theme or genre, such as a selection of hip-hop tracks and pop hits.
You can also share your playlists with friends, post them on social media, or save them to your library for future listening.
The weekly vibe is based on Amazon Music’s “Maestro” playlist generator, which unfolded in beta last year. Maestro allows you to enter prompts such as what mood you are in, random emojis, and more. AI can create personalized playlists that match your requests.
